Squidgie's Super Slick Rigs

Few soft plastics have helped anglers make the transition from bait to lure fishing as easy as the Squidgy Slick Rig range.

These internally weighted lures come ready to fish straight from the packet, but the most significant feature about them is that the jig heads are completely re-useable.

Unlike other internally-weighted soft plastics on the market, the outer skin and tail on Slick Rigs can be easily replaced in a matter of seconds, meaning you only need a couple of heads and a bag of replacement tails to stay in the game.

What's more, it is impossible to put the tail on crooked, which can otherwise affect the swimming action of soft plastics where the hook has to be forced up and out through the tail.

Slick Rigs were extremely well received in the tropical half of Australia following their launch last year, but feedback has suggested that larger sizes were also needed, so the range has been expanded in 2007 to include 170 and 190 millimetre sizes, with the existing lineup being complemented by some exciting new barra colours like Bleeding Mullet, Flamin' Barra, Red Rocket and Green Grunter.

That said, they're still going to be absolute dynamite on offshore snapper and kings, and spinning for jewfish from rock headlands and estuary
mouth breakwalls.
