NEW FACTORY TO PROPEL HAINES HUNTER INTO FUTURE:

A new state of the art factory located in North Laverton, Melbourne, is set to propel Haines Hunter into the future.

The new factory will not only allow for increased production to meet supplier demand, but also meet the highest environmental standards.

Haines Hunter Managing Director John Haber says the new factory has been purpose built in line with Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) requirements.

“The new North Laverton factory is unique in the sense that it is the only factory of its kind in Australia to be EPA certified,” Mr Haber said.

“Haines Hunter is extremely proud of this achievement and we believe that our ‘green’ credentials are just one of the many qualities that set us apart from our competitors.

“We see this new factory as an investment for the future, and take great pride in offering our employees a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.”

In addition to its production capabilities the North Melbourne factory will also house a full-time research and development team, and a conference and sales training venue.

The 5,000m2 factory has the capacity to produce up to 1,000 boats each year, allowing the company to meet supplier demand.
“With the new factory on board there really is no holding us back now,” Mr Haber said.

“We are now in a position to build and turnaround our product with maximum efficiency for our national dealership network.”
In order to accommodate future expansion the Haines Hunter have purchased a parcel of land adjoining the new factory site.

The adjoining 15,000m2 site adjoining the new factory has been flagged as the location for a potential future marine hub faculty.
