Haines Hunter have again been recognised by the Australian Marine Industries Federation (AMIF) awards, with 650 Horizon receiving a nod for Boat of The Year.

The 650 Horizon beat a long list of finalists to take out the Trailerable Cruiser (Accommodation) category.

Research played a significant role in the development of the 650 Horizon, and once again Haines Hunter have been rewarded for their efforts.

The 650 Horizon balances the ability to handle offshore conditions with an impressive range of luxury appointments, demonstrating a level of versatility that undoubtedly contributed heavily to its success in the AMIF awards.

Of course aesthetics alone were not enough secure the judge's vote.

The boat also features a toilet, wash basin, vanity, sink, stove, fold down bench and a 65 litre fresh water tank.

The 490 ProStrike was also recognised in the Boat of The Year awards, taking out the Trailerable Fishing category.
