Combining the best of the spinnerbait and soft plastics worlds is the Vibrax DoubleHeader.

This remarkable shallow running spinnerbait/soft plastic hybrid is something quite unique, and on retrieve it looks very much like the soft plastic is actually chasing the whirring blade — promptly triggering an attack response in any nearby predator.

The blade is chrome-plated stamped brass, and has an eye-catching laser holographic pattern printed on it. The lure shaft is made from stainless steel, while the body is die-cast zinc and chrome plated.

What’s more, a free-turning brass gear rattles when it rubs against the ‘bell’ of the spinner body, giving the lure a sonic aspect as well.

The soft, realistic feeling shad tail has a wide, sweeping action and is easily replaceable if it becomes damaged (two spare tails are supplied).

Available in two weights — nine and 14 grams — and five fish-catching colour combinations, the Vibrax DoubleHeader should prove its worth on trout, yellowbelly, silver perch, bass, estuary perch, and even saltwater species like tailor and salmon.
