Available Monday the 16th September 2002
(Fish from the mountains to the sea with Sydney's leading fishing guide
Craig McGill)
|
| (Fish with special celebrity guests , cricket icon , Allan Border
and internationally renowned chef Tetsuya Wakuda plus a host of other
local fishing legends) |
'Fishing Sydney' explores Sydney's famous Blue Mountains chasing the
challenging trout. Our journey also takes us to the coast fishing the
upper freshwater reaches of the rivers and estuaries for Australian bass.
Next we tackle jewfish , flathead bream and mud crabs on the Hawkesbury
river before heading back to the Harbour to catch salmon , tailor and
huge kingfish within sight of the harbor bridge.
Sydney boasts some of the most spectacular coastline in the country and
here we take on bream , whiting and salmon from the beach , then drummer
and grouper from the rocks.
The amazing kingies on soft plastic lures, from north head, should not
be missed.
Finally we head offshore to fish the deeper waters for succulent reef
fish and ocean speedsters.
