| trawling off sydney only stripys,water temp 23.5 degrees,very strong currents,bad time off the year to fish,tyr dolphin fish off the fads. |

| I'm off Port Hacking and have got striped tune, bonito, a dolphin fish and last weekend a marlin (hooked and lost) on the trawl. |

| Thanx guys, Hasn't been much going on up here, Just stripies and bonito, with a few kingies off the reefs am hoping it picks up soon..... |

For the Dolly, chanced by it a few weeks ago in good seas at the shelf, the Marlin was a couple of kms in from the Cronulla FAD. Tuna and bonito anywhere from a couple of kms offshore and Kings (rats) off the National Park. We've been going to the FAD a bit of late but we tend to drift too quick, even with a sea anchor out.

| Nice fish "Theboy". Pity about losing the dolly but oh well thats fishing. Funny you mention the strong drifts, I was told at Port Macquarie where I live that the other day the current took the FAD underwater and they couldnt find it for ages. I want some warm currents to start coming around the rocks :) |
