Sydney, Australia, January 2009 Evinrude E-TEC has come a long way since 1908 when Ole Evinrude developed the first commercially successful outboard engine.

Now 100 years on, the brand is looking to celebrate its 100th anniversary on the water.

To mark this milestone and kick off our anniversary year with a bang, Evinrude E-TEC will be offering a 5 year manufacturers warranty on all MY08 and MY09 models sold between February 1st 2009 and January 31st 2010.

This additional warranty support signifies again, BRP's confidence in the Evinrude E-TEC brand and the quality and reliability of the engine platform.

Giving you even further piece of mind is the fact Evinrude E-TEC outboards are rigorously tested and have around 200 fewer parts to wear out than a regular four stroke engine. This means you spend less time in the workshop and more time on the water.

Evinrude E-TEC outboards are also among the cleanest in the world (Californian Air Resources Board 3 star certification) and provide benchmark levels of power and torque.

And now with the extension of Evinrude's warranty period to 5 years, there's no better time to check out the latest in Evinrude E-TEC innovations.

For terms and conditions please contact your local Evinrude E-TEC dealer.

well for a start ones black the others white! but other than that one is just as good as the other, all brands can have drama, it is how your dealer and manufacturer looks after that trouble that seperates motors these days!
