Mate, you might be in luck here, I just bought a GPS today and it came with a book that has a fair few of the GPS coordinates of the main fishing possies from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast.

You may already have these but here goes anyway

These ones are from Old Bar down to Cape Hawke.

Schnapper Rock 32.01.750 152.36.050
Blackhead 1 32.05.200 152.37.800
5 Mile 32.04.240 152.39.710
Elsies 32.05.010 152.39.900
Blackhead Reefs 32.05.890 152.33.240
DJ's 32.06.270 152.38.020
The Barge 32.09.380 152.32.280
The Tanks 32.10.750 152.31.310
Latitude Rock 32.12.600 152.34.200
The Pinnacle 32.13.770 152.36.000

The Tanks is meant to be a productive spot for catching live bait.

250 (i think that was the number) GPS spots between Sydney and the sunshine coast. Its about the $12 mark.
As it says it also covers more than just forster etc.

Cap3, being new to all this the first thing and the second thing and the .... thing you are going to hear about is DECENT GPS marks to be useful MUST also have a Datum.

If it's any way similar to the others have a look at the fine print in that little book you will probably find the publishers (bless their purchase price) haven't really got a clue what the Datum is of any of those marks.

Cheers, Kerry.

I never get lost, everybody tells me where to go.
