The Windamere Golden Classic 2006 will be held from Friday the 3rd to Sunday the 5th November 2006 at Cudgegong Waters Park, Lake Windamere.

The Windamere Golden Classic competition comprises 3 sessions. Fishing is only permitted within these times and teams are required to return to the venue between sessions so scores can be updated. There will be a BBQ and drinks provided on Saturday night with presentations to follow at the marquee.

The EVINRUDE Dash 4 Cash, brought to you by EVINRUDE, will again be a prize money competition for big yella's, fished against the clock for bonus points.

The "EVINRUDE Dash 4 Cash" will be held on Sunday 6th November. The rules will be distributed on the evening of Saturday the 4th after the Windamere Golden Classic presentations have been made. To fish the " Dash 4 Cash", a live-well will be mandatory, as all fish must be returned to the venue for measuring by NSW Fisheries officers. A minimum live-well size of 50cm long X 40cm wide X 30cm deep, with lid and aeration should be used, which is basically the size of a large Nally fish tub. Fish must be released in good condition in order to qualify for the competition.

IMPORTANT... A live-well will also be required if fishing for the Golden Classic big fish prize, as transport of the fish will most likely be necessary.

ACCOMMODATION. There is limited number of onsite van and cabin accommodation available. Camping is unlimited. Showers and toilets are onsite. FISHING LICENSE... All anglers must have a current N.S.W. fishing license.

ENTRY FEES AND TEAMS... The Windamere Golden Classic is invitation only and includes entry to the Dash 4 Cash. Entry fee is $180.00 per team ($60.00 per angler). You must have only 3 anglers per team*. All teams must have a team name and a team captain. Only 1 boat per team is to be used. Shore-line fishing is permitted. Family Teams are welcome*. All entry fees must be received by 16th October 2006. There will be NO exceptions due to Insurance and administration requirements.

FRIDAY 3rd November:
BRIEFING. Friday 12 noon 03/11/2006. At least one member of each team must attend the briefing. You will receive your tournament bag including your first session catch cards and a copy of the tournament rules.

SESSION 1. Friday afternoon 03/11/2006. Commence fishing from 1 pm Cease fishing at 6:00 pm sharp. Total fishing time 5 hours. Catch cards back at marquee no later than 7.00 pm sharp. Point penalties for late card returns apply.

SATURDAY 4th November:
SESSION 2. Saturday morning 04/11/2006. Commence fishing from 6:00 am. Cease fishing at 11:00 am sharp. Total fishing time 5 hours. All competitors must return to the marquee with catch cards by 11:30am sharp. Point penalties for late card returns apply.

LUNCH. There will be a 1-hour fishing break between 11:00am and 12:00pm.

SESSION 3. Saturday afternoon 04/11/2006. Commence fishing from 12:00pm. Cease fishing at 5:00pm sharp. Total fishing time 5 hours. All competitors must return to the marquee with catch cards by 5:30pm sharp. Point penalties for late card returns apply.

After each session we will tally all fishing team results and display progress scores on the scoreboard at the marquee. All anglers will be able to see how they are going!

PRESENTATION EVENING. The BBQ & drinks will commence Saturday evening 04/11/06 7.00pm at the marquee. The presentation will follow. Due to a busy evening we would ask everyone to assist in keeping to the timetable.

SUNDAY 5th November:
'SPORTSFISH LUNCH'. Open to all entrants, starting Sunday 05/11/06 after the Dash at Marquee.

DASH FOR CASH. The EVINRUDE Dash 4 Cash will commence 05/11/06 at 8.30am sharp. Cease fishing 10.30am sharp.

PRESENTATION. Presentation of the cash to the winners will occur 11.00am sharp at the Marquee.

The Steve Starling Champion Team Trophy plus a Bing Lee Prize each.

Top three individual point scoring anglers per Session.

PRIZES: There are a total of nine prizes for the three individual sessions.

Seven major prizes for each individual overall category. Perpetual Trophy, and engraved cups for the overall winning team. A total of sixteen prizes, plus Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to anglers.
