Joe Crust :
Originally from England, I settled in Australia in 1988. Many of my close relatives were freshwater fisherman, both competition and recreational, and consequently, I've been fishing for as long as I can remember. I began competition fishing in Australia about 4 years ago, some of my best results include 2nd as a non-boater in the 2002 Sydney NSTE; 1st as a boater in the 2005 Sydney Pro Bream; and top ten finishes in the last 3 Australian Open team events, including a 3rd place in this years event. Fave' outfit for breamin' is a Daiwa Saegake rod and a 1500 Daiwa Luvias.
Brent Delaney:
I have been an obsessed fisherman since I could walk. These days I spend the majority of my fishing time (when not fishing in comps...) either in my canoe on isolated rivers chasing bass or hunting bream and pelagics on Sydney Harbour and other nearby systems, but throughout the year I could be doing anything from trolling for marlin to flicking for trout. Recent tournament highlights include 2nd in the 2006 Sydney Round of the NBC and 3rd in the 2006 NBC Grand Final - Joe and I are hoping we can go 2 places better this year! I have also competed in 2 out of the last 3 ABT BREAM Grand Finals. Thanks to Pure Fishing (Berkley) for their support throughout the year and to Anna Bay Sand and Earthmoving for their continuing support in the NBC."
