Warren Carter:
Warren has been fishing for as long as he can remember; His parents say he cut his teeth on the gunale rubber of their boat.
Warren had his first boat at the age of eleven and has a strong passion for fishing
He says “it’s like a virus that gets into the blood and once you get it there’s no cure, so it has to be fed”.
Warren brings a vast knowledge of fishing experience to the team from all levels,
Games fishing Tournaments in three states, ANSA,
He was the Victorian Snapper Champion in 2001
Warren found a great challenge in Mulloway fishing Melbourne style but he has now found a new challenge in Bream fishing on lures and only in a tournament situation.
Only new to the Bream fishing on lures, in the last Two and a half years has seen him place as a Boater;
1st Clarence N.S.W 2005
2nd Port River S.A. 2005
N.S.W. Angler of the year 2006
And 11 top 10 finishes with ABT from only 21 events as a boater
(not including team events) his attitude is never say die!
Norm Kemp:
Living on the mid north coast of NSW Norm, like many, started fishing from a young age and was introduced to soft plastic and hardbody lure fishing 5 years ago by some of the veterans of the sport. He has been fishing the tournament scene for two years now and has developed an enviable record as a non-boater. Norm is an avid tournament angler and has fished competitions in five states qualifying for two Grand Finals with multiple top 10 finishes and the highlight of a round win on the Clarence in 2005. Fishing a teams event is a new challenge experience and one that Norm will embrace and take full advantage of.
With this season just starting he’s looking forward to another hard and closely contested STC NBC tournament tour and says that he’s looking forward to fishing with fellow team mate Warren Carter. (3rd Sydney Harbour round)
