MEMBERSHIP TO STC.

To compete in the Sportsfish Tournament Circuit (STC) you must be a member of STC and the Team must also be registered.

Each team member must complete the application and nominate their team name.

Membership fee is $110.00* per annum per team or $55.00 per member (* inc GST)

Membership Benefits:
As a registered Member, you receive:

• An STC/Sportsfish membership card, with its associated benefits.
• Full team Profile listing on the STC Website including your sponsors.
• Eligibility into all STC events for each year.

Membership is yearly and renewed each January.

General Team Membership rules & Ethics:

• Decisions – All decisions of the Tournament Director shall be final.

• Team Structure – A team can substitute a member of a team only once thoughout the tournament. In exceptional circumstances the Tournament Director may vary this rule but only by a written application by the team requesting it.

• Awards Ceremony Attendance – It is generally recognised that attendance at presentation of awards ceremonies is an act of respect to others in the angling field, members are asked to attend where possible.

• Appearance at Weigh-in – It is the responsibility of each team member to dress and conduct themselves in a presentable and professional manner at weigh-in and award ceremonies. Dirty, untidy clothing are not considered appropriate apparel when weighing in before the observing public. STC supports and encourages Team clothing to be worn at weigh-in's and award ceremonies. Remember, your potential future sponsors are watching you!

• Conduct at Tournaments – All contestants should do their best to see that those receiving awards are afforded the courtesy of their attention during the announcement and introduction of winners and trade representatives. It is the responsibility of all contestants to understand and be constantly aware that their actions and words speak for all organised fishing tournaments in the eyes of the observing public. Contestants who establish a reputation of ignoring the “Code of Ethics” and or the laws of good judgment are subject to review by the Tournament Authority and are subject to suspension from all STC activities and events.
